Check the blower motor by spraying water down the windshield on the passenger side towards the wiper cowl
The blower inlet is under the wiper cowl and if the seal between the cowl and windshield is broken water will drip straight to the bottom of the blower motor and into the foot well.
Bmw e90 water leak so i've been having a water leak issue for some time it seems to collect under the passenger side footwell From what i suspect to be coming from the sunroof, i checked the drainage lines and they were fine, so i ran a hose over the entire sunroof and it seemed to be coming in from the rails of the sunroof here.
