The air leak you are seeing around the power valve gasket could be the power valve, or your right side main seal However i did a leak down test and i've got a nasty air leak out the power valve shaft seal You need to do some disassembly to further diagnose

Hi all, i have a 93 yz250 that is having idle problems When i go to adjust the idle, i drop the slide as far as it will go, and then the motor revs even higher So i think i must have an air leak So i tear it down and do a leak test

Put new rings in the yz the other night And can not get it to fire, it was fine before, i cleaned the carb the pilot was blocked so im assuming that was the issue
